Canon EOS 5D Mark II + EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM, 1/60 @ f/13

We took a short ride up the Northgate road on Mt. Diablo yesterday and found a whole raft of interesting subjects. Coyotes, hawks, apple blossoms and running water.

I saw this on the way down late in the afternoon and thought it typified spring on Mt. Diablo for me. Bare oaks just starting to leaf out, green grasses and beautiful skies. It won’t last long. Get yours while it lasts.

    Beautiful! Those trees would make a great study just by themselves!
