Oooo. Sharp.

When I was in the Grand Canyon, I had the chance to try a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS zoom. It was a bad idea. Focus is instant and sharp? Oh my, yes. Now I have to have one. Currently OOS at Adorama and B&H. Rumor … Read More

Plums, plums, plums

Always a treat for the eye as well as for the mouth.

Palace of Fine Arts

Flagstaff Arboritum

We visited the Flagstaff Arboritum and had a great time. The butterflies were abundant and quite absorbed in their work, giving me a chance to get close.

Even the birds were sweating…

Passing through Texas on the way from Oklahoma to New Mexico, we stopped at a rest area to make a lunch. It was about 95 degrees and I noticed the Cedar Waxwings sat on branches with their beaks open. I wonder, do they pant like … Read More
