January Full Moon – Now 30% Larger!

January’s full moon is the biggest of the year just as December’s was for 2008. Since the moon travels in an eliptical orbit there are times (like this month) when the full moon coincides with perigee, or closest approach and therefore appears larger, 30% in this case.
