I went out in the mid day sun to try out my new 24-105mm Canon lens. The manual said the closest focusing distance was 1.5′ but I got to perhaps 8″ away from the stamen in this shot. Cool.

    I love the colors in this. There’s something a little Georgia O’Keefe about it.
